A movie no one wanted.
Yep.
shareTrump is a President no one wanted either...and yet we got both of them on the same day. Difference is we can forget this movie in a week. Not the same for the other one.
shareDon't forget Brexit also, the decision nobody with an education wanted except all these chavvy Eastern European hating morons (who are not known for any intellect)
I suppose XXX cater for these Trump voting morons
Right... People who disagree with you don't exist. And yet are somehow better at utilizing their respective countries' mechanisms for effecting political change than their self-proclaimed intellectual superiors. Ironic, isn't it?

"Within industry expectations" just means they were being realistic. This thing is going to end up opening to less than half of what the first one opened to 15 years ago. That's not "no one", but it's not a lot. It's just another indicator that almost no one in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, except maybe Rock, is as big of a draw outside of the franchise as they think they are. Before you go into the "This will make a lot on DVD" discussion, remember again, this is not 2002, and home video is no longer the saving grace it once was.
Child of the Eighties.
Man of the Nineties.
Man-Child of the Twenty-First Century.

So even if xXx 3 flops big time domestically,it could be saved by the foreign box office.

Jackie Chan is one of the top paid action stars in the world and most of his
movies aren't doing well in the U.S.
America is now turning to China to make their movies profitable.
It's not for nothing that Hollywood movies like Rogue one and
the latest xXx has asian stars.
