The movies performed poorly is the US considering it's pg 13 and January release with no real competition.

This must surely can the obvious hinted at ice cube/vin team up 4th movie.

This movie seems to have been financed by at least 4 different
parties and clearly has been geared to make alot of money in China.

If it would have been geared towards the american market there
would have been an important black character and there isn't.

Jackie Chan is one of the highest paid action star and most of his
movies don't do well in America.

I've never seen a movie more obviously cobbled together for international appeal than this one. I mean they really checked all their boxes for foreign markets.
