yes this can actually be done ..you see, the branch of science and technology concerned with the conveyance of liquids through pipes and channels, especially as a source of mechanical force or control allows a motorcycle to hydro-plane on water for a period of time. Hmmm interesting. I saw part of that in the trailer and I guess I didn't think much of it. Cool to know that it is actually realistic. That makes it alot cooler.

I just want people to know it's not your standard CGI gimmick. Yes some was added but the bike stunt is very underrated and deserves credit ....
shareThey wouldn't be able to go that fast though with at the knob tires for offroad wouldn't push that much water. And also go underwater the water would get into the aircleaner and carbator to cause it to stop running.No different than a car can't without some snorkel setup.
shareYeah, there's no way the same tires you use in the jungle are the ones you use while surfing water. And i'm especially skeptical at how they would perform on waves. But the concept for skipping across flat terrain and pools of water is pretty sound. I hope they highlight those stunt sequences in the special features. Cause the way they edited that scene together, I don't think they had too much footage of the bikes actually up for long.
