It's struggled domestically with only 33.5 Million so far, but performing better than Vin's last 2 non-furious movies ( Last Witch Hunter $27 Million) and ( Riddick $42 Million )

Was a hit internationally opening at $50 Million and was the second highest grossing US Film it's second week with $24 million..

It'll be interesting to see if the combination of Diesel, Yen and Jaa can draw big money when it releases in South Korea ( Feb 9th ) China (Feb 10th) and Japan ( Feb 24th )

Listen people studios get 60% of domestic box office takings and of they are lucky after huge taxes and expenses may get around 15% of the over seas takings

Please tell me you didnt think studios get even close to 100% of box office either domestic or abroad?

Nobody said the studio gets 100% of the box office money, I was simply posting the box office numbers.

You're the one who brought it up for no apparent reason...

The studio seems happy with what's going on with the film and that's all that matters, see you on the xXx 4 message board ;)

Paramount has already contacted Diesel about doing another one, or so the report says, so it looks like this turned out to be a modest hit after all.

Trying to create a channel based on interpreting, reviewing, and even giving you something to laugh about film. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

Good idea with Taken is over with,and the last Resident Evil movie now also. There is room for this in theaters.

China came in and paid back half of what it cost to make to them. I can't think they did that to go to making it a tv movie. Highlander is getting a reboot series now also. That will take at least 3 years from now to see a movie. This will get another before that if they want to.
