I used to love watching a film and then checking out IMDb's boards afterwards. People always had really interesting opinions and perspectives that I hadn't thought about. And there have been some really funny people on IMDb over the years. It's a shame that they chose to close the forums. In the spirit of keeping the discussion going, I decided to build film.chat in my spare time. I'm committed to it as a long-term side project. Please check it out!

To celebrate film.chat's launch, I'm going to be giving away movie tickets at the end of the month! Five active accounts will get tickets for two to see any of the films that are listed on the front page. I'm hoping to do this giveaway (and many other giveaways including movies!) on a monthly basis to start.
