Since this is the xXx board of course more people will say xXx better. Ask this on the John Wick Chapter 2 board and you will the opposite results, more in favor of JW.

OP I think Your completely out of touch.
John Wick 2 was incredibly Anticipated and Thats why It had A HUGE Jump in Box office over the original.
I somewhat get your overall point, I just think you picked A Horrible example in John Wick 2...
If you wanted to point out and make a post about xXx 2 being a sequel no one really wanted or was calling for, fine, thats makes sense, But throwing John Wick 2 in As Another example was just A Horrible move...
a better example would have been "Riddick"...
Vin Diesel has now made 2 sequels to Previous action movies in xXx2 and Riddick and both were sequels to films that took place nearly 10 + years and in both cases there wasn't a huge movement for Sequels...and Both ended up not doing great at the box office(Especially Domestically)

If you're asking which movie is better, it's not even close. It's John Wick 2. It has a better style, better fight choreography, you can take it more seriously, better performance, it's the better movie all around.

Really?? As astoundingly unrealistic as xXx 2 is, John Wick 2 somehow manages to top that big way. Both movies have totally unrealistic stories, but JW2 just became a parody of it's own fantasy-world in the last installment with the far out world full of seriously pathetic hit men, video-game shooting scenes and stupid bad guys. The action scenes were poor as well (VERY repetitive) and it was yet another stone-faced performance by the incredibly un-talented Keanu Reaves. Liked the first, but this one was a very poor and boring movie.
xXx 2 on the other hand goes a long way to not take itself seriously at all, and was a nice experience in the old fashion off the top action way. With some eye candy, cheeky one-liners and Vin Diesel doing what he does best. Don't understand the negative reviews on this one at all, given what one should expect from a movie like this.
BOTH~Any movie where we see those luscious lips of ruby rose is worth it!
