I mean sure the car looked outdated...but look at them! Their clothes and presentation is so modern! I seriously thought this was supposed to be present day!

shareTheir clothes and presentation was modern. All they had to do was watch movies from the 1970s and research. Half of an actors and producers job is to research. while watching the movie I was not under the impression it took place in the 1970s and it was up to the actors and movie maker to have it come across to the audience but did not.
