First time watching...

Good grief, it took about 2 minutes of watching this couple & I'm beyond ready for Vicky to die. She is annoying and a harpy. Way more aggravating than Linda Hamilton-she I had some empathy for and she seemed redeemable....this woman is driving me crazy!
Also, it has been a few years since I watched the original....but, wasn't there an early scene where the kids go around killing all of the adults (or does that come later as a flashback, I can't remember), I also seem to remember a scene with the ceremony of sending a 19yo out behind the rows, as well as the 2 little kids talking about running away/packing the suitcase all before the couple show up....but maybe I'm remembering wrong. I also have not read the short story since high school so maybe this version follows the story more closely? Lol guess I'll have to read it again.

I started watching this 5 minutes in and stopped ten minutes in. I
had the exact same reaction...good god what an obnoxious ho.
A horrible actress too so she's probably just being herself.
