is kristen wiig the luckiest out of the 4

i barely remember her being in this when i think about the movie. i always think about melissa mcarthy being horrible or leslie jones being loud or the blonde snl lady trying to be weird but i always forget about wiig.

She's the only member of the cast I actually like and rumors said she was smart enough to know this movie was a piece of shit.

reply

Maybe it's because she's more of a dashing leading lady than the rest of the cast.

Anything Melissa McCarthy is on the cover it's a film I wouldn't like to see or just like the sight of her, there's something about her that makes you cringe especially looking at Thunder Force.

Well, she has a solid career going, which isn't quite the same thing as "luckiest" but it's pretty damn lucky for a woman over forty who isn't a beauty. She's also damn lucky that her career didn't suffer from the failure of this big-budget extravaganza, when she had the largest role.

Because she ought to be as much to blame as anyone, like all the female leads she just failed to be funny.

She's beautiful enough to me.

reply

"who isn't a beauty" I bet she's probably a lot hotter than you, no offense.

reply

Oh honey... never say "No offense" when you're slamming someone's looks!

Go straight for the snark and hope they laugh.

She's a great actress and comedian. She never should've taken this role as I don't think it helped her career at all. I haven't seen the movie, but I at least assume she was the least unwatchable part of it. Her other work has certainly done her reputation more good. Indie directors like to cast her in prestige pics, and she also gets picked for non-comedic roles, a la Bill Murray and Robin Williams. She does seem to have had trouble finding any major hits since Bridesmaids though.

You mean the thinnest?
