BILL MURRAY will probably admit the MOVIE was TRASH

In some months, wait for it.

Murray is keeping it real. Look at his face when promoting this trash, he already regret being part of this abomination.

He needed money i don't see any other reason.

reply

I think I've read he was contractually obligated to appear, or at least to help promote.

That's probably it. He can't be that desperate for money.

reply

They threatened him with a lawsuit that's why he has to.

Yeah that sounds better to me, I still have respect for Bill Murray!!

reply

He already said "the first part of this film was a mess" (or something to that effect, on the Kimmel show). It was pretty funny watching him carefully choose his words in praising the actresses, but NOT the film. The look on McCarthy & Jones face was funny (not being able to hide their shock at him saying that).

reply

What?! Not at all! Watch it here, between 2:00 and 3:00: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZ0YexsRCPc

"Danny and I, and Annie, and Ernie, were just screaming, cheering like we were at a sporting event."

reply

At least that one new Ghostbuster was easy on the eyes. (Sigh) What an absolute waste.

"Treasury throws founder of the Democratic Party off $20 bill, replaces with gun-toting Republican"

reply

Right? McKinnon's face at 2:41 says it all.

reply

lol there wasn't one word in that interview that seemed genuine or real. It reeked of pure lip service

Have any of you actually seen a Murray interview before? He's not really the smiley type.

When the NDA wears out, he'll probably give us the full story.
He needed money i don't see any other reason.
That and Sony threatened to sue him if he didn't make the movie...

This movie will take it's place among Murray's greats......

....that being Osmosis Jones, The Garfield films, and Passions Play.

I thought Osmosis Jones and Garfield 2 was decent. Not great, but not awful either.

He's gonna speak soon!!

reply

Actors only tend to do that if it's their own movie. They don't do that to fellow actors. It's bad form. This board could learn from that.

Plus the movie isn't trash. Get over it.

reply

It is. Which is why it bombed so hard. Get over it.

reply

It didn't bomb. And even if it did, that doesn't mean it's a bad movie. You need this explained to you?

reply

Stop lying to yourself, it bombed. Hard. You can like it, that's fine. But you can no longer deny the facts.

reply

Everyone is contractually obligated to give nothing but praise for the film. It'll be interesting to see what get's said when that statute of limitations runs out.

Hell, less than a year later and Kinberg of all people said Fantastic Four wasn't good.
