Paul Feig is a terrible director.

The movie was good but it could have been 10 times better had he not left incredibly crucial plot points in the cutting room floor, for BOTH editions. In the extended cut he included the wrong things.

How can a movie be good with all of those crucial elements you listed? It was a horrible movie.

reply

At least it was better than garbage like The Conjuring.

reply

The Conjuring is a modern horror masterpiece.

This movie falls flat as anything in it's genre.

reply

The Conjuring is a piece of fúcking excrement and only people born in 1998 can like it and be impressed.

reply

So at which year you have to be born to enjoy this wreckage called Ghostbusters 16?

reply

What ever year as long as you are someone that has actually seen films and holds a perspective on it all.

reply

New Ghostbusters was better than The Conjuring  ahhh and to think I said you were an idiot with zero taste!

reply

What the f do you know about perspective?

You giant pile of dog crap.

It's possible for good things to stick out in a film, even amidst the mistakes. As an example, "Suicide Squad" is a movie that I highly enjoy (I gave both this and "Ghostbusters" a 7) and features great performances, but the entire first act before the Squad are put into action is very inconsistent and leaves much to be desired. Or any given horror movie sequel that's subpar to the original. They have their good and their bad points, just like "Ghostbusters".

"KatTS" / "KoC" / "DP" / "SAM" / "K"
