van dammes ability in fighting

I,m a huge fan of van damme sins about 20 years ago when i started to train shotokan/juijutsui/wrestling and finally muay thai boxing sins then and im surprise yet that nobody i see on screen or is a champion that could do the same thing that he do. I meen, go full split in the air and laugh just for fun at his age.

Is it just me who think he is he still the one of the kind??
And i have the luck to meet him in thailand/pattaya were he shoot the film full love aka. eagle path aka.... who knows????
Very kind and a funny man.
And after the days he went to the disco and relax. so cool so cool.

Many people always compare him to different fighter who win or not.
Who cares?????. Van dammes luck in life and sucsess would be the good stuff that people should wright about and be proud and inspired of when a single man can impressed a hole world like he does.
I personally think that those who complane about someone else have problem by them self and can not stand when people have good in there life.

And still, Van damme still kicks ass in performance/carisma/kicks/funnyness/ and cariness like take care of dogs etc.
I think: He is the one, at this time and it will take a long time before anyone can achive the same thing as he do.
So finally. Who cares who win or not in fighting???
Whats the important in life? be a idiot or be a man!!!
Remembering: Not even the best topfighters today have the same ability.
Why????

You're 100% right. Comparisons between fighters/actors are pointless. He's a smart guy, I also know what I'm talking about. Being Belgian, I know what people think of him. Most of them aren't proud that such a guy did what million people are dreaming of. In fact, Jean-Claude is more known here for what he says/said than for what he does. And people are laughing at him because he doesn't speak like a politician. One of our world's biggest problems is that people aren't listening you're saying, but how you're saying it.

The truth is that Jean-Claude said things that were true and that still are (I mostly speak for his French interviews). What he said (and is still saying) came from his heart. He also knows he's a man like everyone, and this fact makes him more human than most movie stars. Then I'm not surprised he's still physically in shape, being mentally in shape...

yes Van Damme is the only action legend who has the best style of martial arts.
His moves all unique and he changed the genre of action films.
