Who's watching this on Netflix?
It's weird how Kim's voice is super high the first season then the following seasons her voice is all deep and sultry..like what?

I've seen that on Grey's Anatomy too, Ellen Pompeo's voice goes sort of muted sometimes, like she has a cold or a sore throat. My only thought is, maybe they smoke and it affects their vocal chords? Maybe they're just prone to throat infections? I also heard it can happen to alcoholics, which I don't think (and certainly hope not) is the case.

I just finished watching the entire series on Netflix and I enjoyed it very much. It's a really cute show. I wish it had another season or two. I'd love to see where they went with Jane and Ian. Well, all the characters.
shareI'm watching the show for the first time, and I love it. I'm on the first season, and I'm looking forward to Fred's return.

I noticed that, too, and at first wondered if they were dubbing Jane's voice with Deb's voice. I also noticed that Jane didn't immediately re-do her entire wardrobe, including shoes, and her whole make up presentation, the minute Deb inhabited her body.
So I think, at the very first, they had Jane acting like Deb, with the high voice and the giggling and the hair flipping AND the incredible shooting pain in her head whenever some Jane knowledge came out of her mouth. Then, episode by episode, they let Jane go back to her normal voice, buy some more expensive and flattering clothes, improve her make up, and not do the giggling or hair flipping or brain pain so often.
I'm glad they did it slowly. And I'm really glad she didn't stick with Deb's annoying voice!
