Emily Blunt's accent

Did anyone else feel like it wasn't good at all? Her British accent comes slipping by a few times and while she had some kind of Midwestern twang when we first see her, she drops that as the film goes on.

Don't detract anything, however I was drooling everytime she's onscreen ha!

I can't figure out what accent she's trying to do. She's from Kansas, but her accent is like a parody of some type of Appalachian sound. Maybe this is a payback for Dick Van Dyke's terrible Cockney accent in Marry Poppins.

At least Van Dyke's was charming.

I didn't say it was good.

Speaking of Poppins, Blunt will be in the sequel. Don't know who she's playing. Probably Jane.
