I don't get this movie at all

I've tried watching it twice, things I don't get: Who is sending the people back all bound and gagged, the Mafia? What are the eyedrops he keeps using, liquid drugs to get high? How do they know someone is coming back at a certain time of the day, meaning, how would they contact someone 30 years in the future? Then he keeps shooting Bruce Willis several days in a row, huh?

His opening remarks are supposed to explain what's going on but I find it confusing. Why would the Mafia or whomever, have to pay someone in gold to send someone from the future to be assassinated. People have rated it 7.5 but I haven't bothered to assign a number yet until it starts to make some sens even though it's fiction.

Yes to "Mafia" and "Liquid Drugs." In certain elements of criminal finance, a skilled earner is often called a Fixer. This seems to have some overlap in regards to criminal time-travel.

They never expand on this. They never tell us how Abe() is getting the information he needs to manage the Parent Loop. But it all appears to work, somehow, it's best we remain pragmatic about the logistics.

the Silver/Gold serves a dual purpose: a) As payment to Abe()/Looper(); b) As a means of laundering future income.

A time-machine is a perfect mechanism for laundering future income without actually losing said income. Looper was not the first to touch on this subject.

Enjoy these words, for one day they'll be gone... All of them.

True answer: This movie doesn't make any sense.

It's written stupidly and lazily, and as a result, it's full of plotholes, inconsistencies, breaking its own rules, et cetera, ad nauseam.

The only thing that makes this movie worth watching, is .. ... wait, I think they erased that timeline, where such a thing exists in this movie.
