Kid Blue was really a moron, a complete inept and from the first moment who know he is a douchebaf. Abe was a tought but honorable gangster and made things by the book, he saw Joe as a son but I guess even himself would get somehow completely sick of Kid Blue and just shoot him. I guess Kid was his real son and raised to the ranks by nepotism, that was the reason why Abe didn´t killed him but had no problem in punishing him.
shareInteresting theory, but difficult. Abe() is from the Future, so Kid Blue is actually around YoungAbe's age or older. I believe "Is Kid Blue actually Young Abe?" is a better question, but perhaps it's just another red herring.
