She was to blame for everything that happened, because she interrupted the ritual hugging the guy
Plus, the characters were very annoying, their disrespect and their jokes during the ritual made the viewer not relate to any of them, it was good that they all died

That wasn’t the issue, no problem that the guy left. The issue, as the spiritual lady said on the phone, is that the Asian girl made a joke by making up some dead schoolmate. That opened a gateway for the demon to come
