So Carlton Drake is Riot now?

I just read on Wikipedia that Carlton Drake is also Riot, one of Venom's evil children symbiotes (and presumably the lead villain of the film.) I knew Drake was the progenitor of the symbiotes in this movie, but based on one of the trailers I recently saw, I assumed the long-haired man in the cell being covered in the symbiote while others watched was going to be Riot, aka: Trevor Cole. Cole was Riot in the comics, and I personally have not heard any confirmation from the producers or actors that Drake is indeed Riot. I Also read on another site that the character Shriek is also going to be in the film, played by Michelle Lee, who I believe is the woman doing the voiceover in the first full trailer about the symbiotes talking to Eddie. Has anyone gotten confirmation about any of this?
