Why couldn’t they bring back Topher Grace?

Yikes....

... Lol. Even Topher didn’t understand why they wanted him for the role in the first place.

Hopefully his take on the character will be all but forgotten about in time. This Venom, whether it’s a good or bad movie, definitely looks to have a far better representation of the classic Symbiote (and Hardy is unquestionably a better fit for the roles).

I hope this movie is good. I hated Raimi's nerdy Eddie Brock/Venom. I did like Topher Grace in Predators though.
