The race of the actor doesn't matter

That's why they call it "acting." He's portraying someone else. And unless an actor is portraying himself (or his twin), there will always be some genetic difference. If they had cast an arab actor with blue eyes, would you object to the producers altering the eye-color with contacts? Would it be wrong for a blonde actress to dye her hair in order to portray Jacqueline Kennedy on screen? Then what's wrong with giving a white guy a spray tan and having him portray Uday Hussein? Actors frequently alter their appearances to more closely resemble the characters they portray. There aren't many accomplished albino actors sitting around waiting for albino acting roles to come along. Do you object to a white actor having his skin lightened, hair bleached, and eye-color changed to land this part? Why is skin color so special? It doesn't necessarily even have to be reasonably approximated. Granted, The Wild Wild West was a terrible movie, but not because a black actor (Will Smith) played a character who, in the original series was established to be white, and who historically would have been white. I loved the original series, but I had no problem with him being cast in that role. There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who are part of the problem and those who are part of the solution. You people, whatever your color, who are so obsessed with race are part of the problem. Get over yourselves.
