Poster....

That poster is very original and has to be one of the coolest posters I have ever seen.

Not sure I believe this story though - I mean the guy who wrote it won't tell us everything will he?

I want the poster so bad. It's awesome.

Cheers to the creator of the poster. It caught my attention. I would have never heard of this film if that poster didn't capture my curiosity.

It seems like some kind of modern & true-ish telling of Mark Twain's classic The Prince & The Pauper.

Or the Sun King (Louis XIV).

Read "I Was Saddam's Son" by Latif Yahya. He tells everything, and it is horrifying, nightmare-inducing. There's no way the film will show it all.

Think cynical thoughts.

I actually think the poster looks cool but doesn't work well at all. It gives off the impression that it is a comedy and that is not what I saw in the trailer. So in my opinion it is a terrible poster for a serious film but a great one for a comedy.

i'd rather think that the poster works very well, it sure gets people's attention-- the all gold, the ornate design, the angle from which the actor is sitting *ahem*. and its not a comedy, if anything its a flashier version of Scarface.

I'm the same as fourkings, I was looking through apple trailers, I skip most of them, but that poster caught my eye so I checked it out, now I'm here. A poster is all about advertising, so I'd say they did an excellent job with it.

Same here too. It is unique astheticly. Didn't know about the story but am now facinated by it. A poster has to convein what the movie is about in an artistic way while also getting your attention, this did a perfect job.

it reminds me of the gold wrapper on chocolate.

"It's for the pain. Rarely touch the stuff...Can I have another?"

reply

Yeah it captures your attention in the wrong way. Look at it again. It looks like a parody of gangster movies.
