What was the point of the double, to the story?
For a film about a double, I was expecting a lot of tense mistaken identity, at least some fun with the idea of there being a double.
But I don't think it was used once in the movie. The double could have just been an assistant, like any of the others, who wanted 'out'.
And the story was pretty damn thin. It was basically "stern, moody, good" playing against his "goofy, psycho, evil" polarised opposite like it was some extended acting class.
Last King of Scotland was a very, very similar movie but far superior in my opinion in that things actually happened and the story evolved.
