Left or Right Hand Drive?
I am just confused. In Iraq the traffic is on the right. But most of the cars except Uday Porsche was right hand drive cars. I dont know why....

shareI believe I noticed at lesat 2 scenes in which they were driving on the left. Seemed very odd to me. Then I looked on IMBD and saw that the movie was filmed in Malta, where they drive on the left.

Yeah, this scene was especially confusing. The bodyguard, or whatever he is, is driving a left hand car, Latif and Sarrab a right hand.

There are also scenes filmed in Jordan, where they drive on the right side.
The traffic continues to change from the left side to the right and back all the way through the film.
The whole film crew ( but especially the director ) is to blame.
This is a major mistake.
This irritates me. A film shot in a LeftHandTraffic/RightHandDrive country (Malta) and set in an RightHandTraffic/LeftHandDrive country (Iraq) should make more of an effort to get things right, especially if certain scenes are shot in an RHT/LHD country (Jordan). The end result was inaccurate and a mismash (especially that scene with the Jeep and the Merc - a LHD and a RHD on the left hand side of the road!) I know it's difficult when you're not shooting on a closed set as you have to take into account what the traffic around you is doing, and it's expensive importing cars from other countries. However, they managed to put Iraq number plates on all the vehicles and there's quite a lot of LHD cars in Malta because its close to Italy, so they could have used more of those. Still, the whole film wasn't very big on authenticity!
shareJust goes to show that nobody really gave a damn with this joke of a film.
