I went into this movie pretty cold on the subject. Midway thru, I could tell this was all a tall tale, and started a few minutes research. Predictably, every investigative journalist that bothered to contact anyone with ties to the old regime confirmed that this was all a figment of Latif's mind. No one from Iraq ever heard of him. Latif's ex wife says its all BS.

Really, how on earth could anyone believe this Latif slob got got into a gunfight with Uday, gets away, escapes the country on horseback with the Uday's woman, then returns to shoot Uday in the groin?

Good grief what a slop. Latif is stealing and conniving from the masses. Ironic.
