Did anyone else laugh out loud at Sarrab slow motion dance?

look, I hate to say it, but Sarrab was down right ugly. She had some scenes with her wig on where she looked alright under the right light...

But the scene where Latif was first noticing her in the club as she was dancing. She was being seductive at first and it was ok. Then they slow-mo the cam up her face trying to look all sexy and it just came off as Wanda from In Living Color. I hate to be a jerk, but it was just so strikingly bad that I actually laughed. :o

The thing is, her actress isn't that bad looking in real life and other roles. Dunno what they did to her here, but it wasn't working.

Yes on both counts, I laughed during her 'seductive' dance scene, and she looked much better with the wig on.

I have to agree. She had a body, that's true but her face was.... questionable in here. Definitely didn't look like a knockout. Then again, some women don't have to be "pretty" in the face to give off a strong sexuality. Some women just know how to work it and it makes them more attractive than anyone. Maybe she had that magic going on in here?

You are very wise. I am impressed. It is true -- some women are SO HOT despite not being stereotypically attractive. Some men, too. Actually, those types are the hottest of all -- the ones where you are wondering, "Why am I so attracted to this person?"

I have to agree 100% about men here. So weird how a Benicia Del Toro or A Joaquin Phoenix has that weird sexiness, and I couldn't be less interested in the Brad Pitts or Clooneys if the world. I guess the same is true for women, I might wanna go lezzie for Michelle Rodriguez, but not for .....I don't know...insert classically beautiful actress name here.

Yes, yes, BINGO! I would walk over broken glass for Benicio del Toro or Joaquin Phoenix, but Brad Pitt or George Clooney? Eh. Whatever. You, my dear, have exquisite taste. And I would go lezzie for Salma Hayek, Patricia Arquette, Niocole Beharie, and Kerry Washington. Off the top of my head.

As for your classically beautiful -- Heidi Klum. Does not do a single thing for me.

Benicio Del Toro? Hot. Squinty eyes and chiseled face. Yum.

Joaquin Phoenix? Puke. There's something about the look of his eyes and skin. He looks jaundiced and ill no matter what film or interview he's in.

Ludivine is beautiful! It might be the make up and camera angles which do not flatter her so much in this film.

She might have fooled me, but she didn't fool my mother.

OMG... Yes! I was only on imdb to see if anyone made a comment about what a poor choice they made for Sarrab. That slow motion bit looks like they hired a tranny about to lose his wig in a second. And yes, kudos to you, for mentioning how lovely that actress is in real life or other roles. They did a true disservice to her and their film here. LOL bad

Ludivine Sagnier is a beautiful woman and she looked enchanting in this movie. If you don't think she looked attractive then you just might not like her particular "look", which is fine but it's just your opinion. Personally speaking, she resembles Blake Lively in the sense that both of these lovely ladies could be seen as having a 'masculine' sort of aesthetic appeal (e.g., strong features, prominent jawline, etc.) but it gives them a raw sexiness and seductive energy. I do find her to be one of the most beautiful French actresses, and she was marvelous in this - gorgeous, classy, elegant, and sultry persona.
