A flaw in the logic of the game...

I've only seen it a few times, so I might be missing something....but, when it comes down to 3 people remaining...and they each vote who they feel should get voted out (bringing it down to just 1 on 1)....they seem to vote for the person who did the worst (the "weakest link") in the previous rounds. Shouldn't they be trying to vote off the STRONGEST link, so that they don't have to go up against that person in the final round? (Shouldn't they want to go up against the dumber of the 2 remaining players, rather than the smarter of the two??)

Sometimes they have admitted to voting off the STRONGEST at this point.

I think when it's down to (3), the computer should decide who advances, to prevent this "strategy".
