I just watched the complete series of The Office in about 3 weeks...I Loved it

I'm just wondering for those who have seen BOTH The Office and This...are they similar?

do you think if I liked The Office, I'll like P+R?

I've seen and love both of them. Same style, different characters and setting. Ron Swanson is reason enough to watch it. Tom Haverford is great too.

Agreed! P&R is the winner (to me) because of Ron Swanson.

Parks and Rec is very similar to the office. Just a different setting and not as good all around. Still a great show and one you'll probably like if you like The Office. It took a few episodes to get into so don't give up if you don't like it straight away.

Edit: Just noticed I'm way late to this question, oh well.

I see both shows being given marathon re-runs on some stations, and they seem to have a similar look, that hand-held camera thing and a lot of reaction shots. Made me curious as I rarely get into sitcoms but I wouldn't mind getting into them if they are as much fun as, let's say, That 70's Show. I'm leaning toward P&R, for some reason. I don't like Carell all that much.

Both shows are like you have to compare between Hereditary and Midsommar. I think you'll love it!
