Series Finale
Is it only me who didn't like it? Not that it was bad per se, but it was just way over the top. Every character ended up with amazing lives. Sorry, that's not what would actually happen. Most of them would still be working at Parks and Rec, or somewhere else in local government. No way would Tom become a bestselling writer after his popular business closed, no way would Garry become mayor 10 times in a row, no way Ben and Leslie would get everything they wanted with Ben becoming a Congressman and moving to DC.
Other than that, all of season 7 was like a cartoon. It was so unrealistic and just goofy. I still laughed a lot and enjoyed it but dang, it didn't feel like Parks and Rec at all. It lost the early show feel. I don't understand why TV shows always do this. Every character became an over exaggerated version of themselves, Andy became a HUGE dumba**, April was even weirder and creepier than usual, etc etc.
Don't even get me started on the whole future thing...the insane technology advancements really distracted from the show. It was just a little overboard.
I'm still watching the finale right now but the IMDb forums are extremely annoying on my phone to add more text so I'm done now.
