Characters who disappeared

Why did Leslie's mom disappear after the episode with Ben's parents and the quilt? I understand why Ben's parents wouldn't be at the gala and their wedding, but Leslie's mom lives in town and would be very upset not being invited to the wedding. She was heard to be watching the kids in season seven, but we never see her after that.

Also, why wasn't Mark Brendanawicz considered to design the Pawnee Commons project? After all, he gave Leslie a set of plans on his last episode. Why not have him revise his plans to include a dog park? It would have been a great chance for Mark to meet Ben and for us to see what happened to him after he Brendanaquit.

Mark Brendanawicz (actor Paul Schneider) quit and bashed the show in real life. So, there's no reason to bring him back anymore. No one mentions him; He doesn't even have a box on Ann's ex-boyfriend garage sale.

reply

Him not having a box seemed to me like a comment on the character's milquetoast personality. Ann didn't get caught up in Mark's personality because it wasn't strong enough to suck her in.

reply

I've watched that episodes so many times, yet I never realized that Ann didn't have a Mark box. That's how forgettable his monotone character was.

What about Leslie's policeman boyfriend (I forgot his name)? I know he came back to interview for the Chief of Police job but did he ever appear after that?

reply

I'm not sure but the last time I've seen him was (S4) with Leslie and Ben having dinner, remember when he cuffed Ben on the urinal? XD He's not stupid but he just thinks way too irrationally.

Dave

reply

Just google it. Lol xD Pretty much everyone knew of it.

reply

The only good memory I have of Mark is when they're trying to dig up the most dirt on each other and Mark tells Jerry something about his adopted mother

reply

Jerry IS adopted. And yes that was probably his best moment. His best line was "And keeping one's eyes open is always a good rule of thumb around guns." Loool

reply

I had just watched the garage sale episode and noticed Anne had no box. You're all right, he had no distinct personality to get caught up in

reply

That awful owner of the Snakehole Lounge vanished (as did the bar after a while). I hated his character so I was glad when he probably moved to Eagleton.

"They have a grill, it's this grill. Now you have it...it's called America."
