What happened to the undercover cop?
One of the prisoners was actually an undercover cop right? What happend to him?

His face was sliced off by a blade trap. It's the scene with a set of keys hanging from a tree, where the main villain goes to grab them, he is tackled by the undercover cop who ironically pushes the villain out of the way of the trap and is himself sliced by that hanging scythe blade thing.
"I want a frisbee made of Mexico."
His role was vague and he acted stupid throughout and died needlessly. Can someone explain what his point of being there was again?
