Opening kills: seemed like they were starting a trend...

Did anyone else think this: Given the opening kills in WT2 and WT3, they seemed to be letting us know which sequel we were watching by the number of sections the "kill before the credits" victim got sliced into. Kimberly in WT2 got split in two, head to hooter, while the blond guy in WT3 got sliced into 3 sections. The doctor in WT4 was drawn & "quartered". I have yet to see 5, but I'm curious to see if they pulled it off. I wonder if this was intentional or just coincidental.

And isn't it always peculiar how the clothing always remains intact?
