Did you hear about this movie from people you know? I'm really curious to know because I hear a lot of very different opinions about it when it came out.

I think, if I remember right, that I saw a trailer for it and was unimpressed, but was later told by a friend to check it out. My interest spiked when I saw that it was written by Joss Whedon, so I watched it as soon as I could. Personally, while I get the point this movie was trying to make, it was an overall disappointment for me.

I saw it alone
I really enjoyed it...tons of horror tropes, great cliche characters, good death scenes...a real call back to the fun 80's stuff but with a funny twist

I think I just read about it online and maybe heard about it. I toyed with watching but, didn't really plan on it until I got my hands on a poster copy for a little fun giveaway. I decided then i should watch the movie. The movie is ok. Different. Funny (twistwise) Disturbing in some parts. The poster is killer.
