I mean, I know there are no zombies, but you have to make a zombie movie fairly "realistic" in the sense of a zombie apocalypse.
In what sense? And in what sense does a zombie apocalypse accomplish this that Cabin in the Woods doesn't?
Cabin in the Woods operates as a comedy... because that's what it is. People who like it are actually comedy fans, not horror fans.
Nah. There's plenty of horror in it. And yes, it does have jokes because horror and comedy have been blending together for many years. Freddy, Chuckie, Ghostface, Evil Dead II, Romero had some comedy in his Dead movies, even going back to the Universal Horror movies. They had comedy in them.
Horror fans know that horror has had comedy in it long before they were ever even born.
You want jokes, not scares.
Incorrect. We want, and through horror movies we get, both.
Seize the moment, 'cause tomorrow you might be dead.
