Can John C Reilly survive?

This guy can be funny and can also be used effectively in dramatic vehicles. But I just don't know if John C. Reilly's career can survive two big bombs back to back: first Holmes & Watson and then his Laurel and Hardy picture. Paul Thomas Anderson should give him a juicy role pronto

Stan & Ollie (2018) just opened (first wide) today in UK. Imdb rating 7.5 and 2 awards.

Stan and Ollie has been getting rave reviews, you can't call it a flop yet and The Sister brothers was a critical hit. Every actor has a stinker or two in their canon, so let's not go OTT over one shit film and say a actor's career is over. Plus C.Reilly isn't a A Lister, Ferrell is the one who needs to worry not C.Reilly.

Stan & Ollie was not a flop and Reilly got commended for his performance in it. If anything this one probably dragged down its box office. Let's also remember he has the Wreck It Ralph franchise which is also a hit.
