Reconstruct the burned note
There is no way that they could have reconstructed that note. When AJ's character burned the note, it burned from the bottom corner. the bottom part of the note was where all the information was, paper pretty much desintegrates when burned. maybe they could have recovered the top part of the note and a few words here and there but not the entire line straight across the bottom.
this movie came recommended but i thought it was pretty dumb overall.
