Pretty obvious what Ray Fisher's motives were

He got more screen time in this version. A lot more. His character got chopped on the editing room floor in the theatrical version, he got mad about it, and started throwing out accusations; which he still to this day has not substantiated.

This is the world we live in now. It's widely acceptable that you may throw out accusations when you don't like something - and he knows this - so he started talking shit when he saw his character got less screen time than he wanted.

Pretty much, the irony is that now its out and people can see his performance. But hes probably already burned too many bridges in Hollywood. It might be hard for him to get other roles.

What I see:

1. Ray Fisher getting MUCH more screen time in this version vs the 2017 movie.
2. It's become fashionable to rip Wheedon as if this was a GREAT movie buried by him. Ray (and DC fans) jumping up and down as if a masterpiece was salvaged from the depths. As if a great movie was there all along and it was all Wheedon who ruined the theatrical release.

What I don't see:

1. ANY evidence Ray was mistreated or screwed.

Conclusion:

Ray was bitter and played the race card.

To be fair, he did say Whedon was terrible to everyone on set.

I don't give a flying what what Ray Fisher "said", that whiny bitch proved NONE. OF. IT.

There is no "proving" this kind of stuff. You can only make an approximation of what the truth might be.

What we do know is that Jason Momoa stands with Fisher; Gal Gadot stated that it was hard working with Whedon; NONE of the cast defends Whedon. After the revelation, some women from Whedon's past works also started to badmouthing him.

On the other hand, the studio stands with Whedon and the producers that Fishers accused, some kind of investigation using third party has concluded that nothing wrong has been done.

So what does that means? Fisher probably exaggerated the accusation. But Whedon was probably also a creep and kind of an asshole.

Many people who work in Hollywood have to be assholes, you can't survive Hollywood by being nice !

He's a bitch so played the race card and got what he wanted. Not going to save his career.
