This is a bad analogy...

IMO that works perfectly for something Like BvS and its Theatrical Cut and Ultimate....

BvS's Theatrical cut Is Brutally AWFUL, But The Ultimate Cut is a Slightly Better version but still Brutally awful...

as you said, They just Polished a Turd...


Here With Justice League....You literally have a different movie....this isnt simply a slightly better version...

Whedon Butchered the film, took out everything important and Then wrote and filmed awful new scenes that Made it a different movie...

for me your analogy just doesnt work....


No words can describe how surprised I am that This film turned out as good as it did....

IMO BvS is the biggest creative failure in Hollywood History and I've always felt Snyder doesnt remotely understand or care about these DC characters, He has the wrong vision for these Iconic DC characters...and after BvS I didnt think he was capable of doing any better...

But IMO This film was actually pretty good and NOT remotely simply "a better version" of JL 2017

with that said, Its easily 45 Minutes too long, Snyder's vision for the characters are still wrong and I dont believe this film would have succeeded theatrically...

But again I am absolutely stunned its as good as it is...
