What was with the Warehouse scene (before he finds Goldberg)

He ran in and looked around and the wall said home sweet home then Same saw himself in the mirror I geuss but they played suspenseful music as if he saw the killer or something.

I know I thought that the first time he went there he looked and it he woke up in Jenna apartment dunno what happened there
