i had a feeling it had something to do his lowering his pulse or something, coz ice lowers ur heart rate. but i dunno

I think Goldburg said something about the possibility of boiling his brain. I think he heats up too much when he jumps.

Yeah, if you remember in the first one the jumping would cause problems to Evan's brain.
