Saved his sister as well as his mother and father in the fire. What triggered his sister's obsession with him.Was losing both her parents and Sam was all she had in the world. So saving all of them. Sam couldve went on his with his life.Fall in love etc...Her parents wouldve been there for her.If she was mentally ill or not to begin with.Hence no serial killer and all that. Thats just my theory anyway. What do y'all think?

She was crazy enough said she was supposed to die

If he could've, yeah I agree. When he allowed his sister to die I thought, MAN that's cold!

Wrong.
She fell in love becasue Sam saved her life and she thinks he owned her now. it was clearly stated in the movie. parents got nothing to do with this so they would have changed nothing. the only way to stop her from killing people was to kill her.

The "Jenna" in the final scene was most likely Adult/Psycho Jenna in 9 year-old form, just like the "Sam" was really Adult Sam in 15 y/o form. Sam went back to take out Jenna; Jenna went back to stop him. (She failed.)

im actually betting jenna (sam's daughter) is jenna (sam's sister) reincarnated.

I thought it might be the genes in their family, like in the other Butterfly Effect movies. That each generation would have time travel problems and the child would end up time traveling and sort of psycho like the original Jenna was.
