Couldn't Jenna Have Done Something ......

......less violent ? Like make Sam's future girlfriends miss the bus or have car troubles so that they couldn't make the first date ?

And she kills the cheating girlfriend instead of just letting Sam catch on to her relationship with Lonny ??

Didn't she say that he was really depressed after it happened? Maybe that is why, she was protecting him in her own way.

reply

I agree! It would make much more sense to take a much less drastic approach to helping her brother. Then again, there really wouldn't have been that much of a movie if she just did little things.

reply

Well, she could. However, would the movie be so interesting then? The guy goes back in time, finds criminals, lives boring life, has no girlfriends.. aaand nothing else happens. =]

reply

Why?

because she was psycho...

And psychos don't just make people miss their busses, they kill :)

Biggest issue here is the continuing theme throughout the movie, U cant change what's meant to happen because if u do, something worse may happen. So by this theory had Jenna Made the girl miss the bus, eventually Sam and the girl would meet up somehow by chance, and the relationship would go on from then. The only way to prevent Sam from furthering a relationship with a girlfriend would be to kill the girl.

Well, the movie has no back stories. She could have tried to do things by non-violent means at first, but then realized she could get both Rebecca and Lonnie out of the way since she could murder one and then blame Lonnie with the murder.
