Pretty good episode. The best thing about this show is the "retro" feel it has regarding the development of its characters. Discovery (which is a horrible and detestable show) has thrown this concept out of the window. We get to learn a few things about the crew on SNW. This is the only show Paramount is putting out that's good. That's what good writing can do for you.

I really wish they would do something with Ortega's hair, tho. That's an ugly cut on any male/female/alien. It should be banned from the Federation.

Just finished it... great episode. Very eerie in places. Interesting concept with some solid themes. Really sucked me in.

I thought Ortega was a weak character but they did finally give her something to do and a little insight into her. I don't mind her so much anymore. However, that haircut is atrocious.

But it was like the Ortegas part was from another script added at the last moment. They should have done the entire episode from her viewpoint or not included her narration at the end. She can be a good character but also very annoying. And the way she treated Spock more like an annoying friend than her superior officer.

That's her entire character, she's a haircut that flies the ship.

I can't stand her haircut, she looks like a Hot Topic employee that got lost and ended up on the enterprise.

Ortegas is the best new character on the show. Someone has to bring some life.
