Just started watching...in the first 5 min. they showed windmills..its the 23rd century, its trek cannon they get power from anti-matter
THEY DON'T HAVE WINDMILLS!!

Anti-matter doesn't exist practically. It's not an energy source, taking huge amounts of energy to produce anti-protons.

I don't know about anti-matter, and dilithium crystals, but the future of energy is nuclear fission. Maybe in 300 years they will get fusion to pan out, but probably not.

I turned it off when I got fed up from looking at the Captain's haircut. How much time in the morning does he spend on getting that right?

I'm still pissed about how they broke canon with Spock and T'pring. That, and because it was made in Alex Kurtzman's studio, I refuse to watch it. I don't care about the good reviews it's getting, it's still tainted by the Kurtzman douchebag.
