Overall it was ok. STD and Picard set the bar was so low that it stood out

It wasn’t as fun and adventures as Orville. But miles better the STD and Picard. Lets hope there will be more“Planet of the week” instead of one big boring plot for entire season.

First 20 minutes were too long and boring with “introduction”. And I completely forgot what happened with Pike in Discovery, it was so long time ago. So those flashbacks had me: “What? Why is he upset?”

Anson Mount was the best thing that happened to New Star Trek universe. He nailed Pike. And its hilarious when you remember that he was some F list actor his whole career. I still remember him from that Birtney Spears movie. Took him long enough but he found his role.

On the other hand Spock was hugely miscast. Ethan Peck is charisma vacuum as Spock. They should have found better actor.

That woman that went with Spock and Pike to that planet, whatever her name is (imdb says La'an Noonien-Singh) was way too annoying with her own psycho problems no one cares about.
She was straight out rude and you cant talk like that with your superiors.

Rebecca Romijn is a little too one-dimensional. They must give her some personality and her own adventure.

I liked that blonde nurse. She was fun.

That woman with short haircut that was sitting in captains chair was… well… I really hope they didnt make her one of those they/them for woke agenda. Because now you can never tell when you see woman with short hair or wild hair color.
