It doesnt matter who is president

The end of the film really disapointed me as it fell into the trap of the left right paradigm , there is no left or right anymore.

There maybe the odd politician who actually gives a dam but the people who are really pulling the strings are the same old cronys in the background.

They never change and the system will keep allowing them to steal the money off the rest of the country. Its a rigged game you cant win because they make the rules and control wall street.

Most people in the US are corperate surfs and they dont know it which is the best form of slavery , the illusion of choice and freedom.

Only a new Benjamin Franklin can help the USA now.

I don't think anyone gets in power who is not already in the pockets of these people. I believe Obama has already gone back on many of his election 'promises'.

Bush and Obama are fingers on the same hand.

Modern US politics have been compared to professional wrestling - in public they hate each other , in private its jobs for the boys.

There is only the pretence of democracy in the USA now. I'm actually quite fearful of what the future holds.

Its slightly worrying when i see celebrity stories on the main pages of nearly all the national newspapers.

TV is almost entirely dumbed down in this country now aswell , i have barely watched it in 5 years.

Well the truth is we all do have a choice and we are free to do whatever we want. Unfortunately too many people do exactly what other people want them to do. There are certain rules that not even the strongest and most powerful corporations or politicians can't break.

The movie projected the whole system as bad and rotten and even though it may seem like it, the basics are still intact and no matter how much we hate the current system it's best one we have.

People should become more responsible for their own actions. If you get a mortgage then you have to pay the bills, if you don't and spend the money you got for it foolishly then you don't deserve your house anymore. No matter how many generations of your family lived there.... you should've though about that before.

I was watching this movie with some interest, until Moore portrayed Obama as the Savior/solution. I agree with habler6, no one gets into power unless they are already in the pockets of these bankers. As The Who said: "Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss".

I wonder if Moore had made this movie today if he would have taken a different approach.

And you do see Clinton and Bush I together.

I agree 100 % with the OP.
