Obama and the bailout

I loved how Michael Moore failed to mention that then Presidential candidate Barack Obama fully (and I mean FULLY) supported the bailout being passed. Don't remember seeing anything about this in the movie...that's interesting huh?

He mentioned only briefly that Goldman Sachs was one of Obama's biggest campaign contributors. And I'm sure they'll be giving him a *beep* more this next time around.

Michael Moore is a disgrace, don't listen to this man. Anyone that falls for either side of this disgusting two sided political system we live under, is either a fool or a contributor.

People like things simple. Freedom/slavery...hot/cold...rich/poor...McDonald's/Burgerking... People like an either/or perspective.

A third choice confuses people.

Chrysler is lucky to still be alive.

Isn't it "cloth or pay 5-cents a bag" nowadays?

I don't know. I had a nervous breakdown trying to decide, so now I have the groceries delivered to my house. For the delivery charges I pay, I could be carrying my groceries home in silk sacks designed by the most revered couturiers and embroidered with rubies and emeralds. I also shop at Costco, sometimes, where bags would be utterly useless. I have to borrow engineering techniques from the architects of Stonehenge and the pyramids to get my mammoth packages to the car.

LOL! 'nuff said!

You should develop a pyramid scheme....

I disagree with this advice and regard this attitude as harmful to the political process. People should spend less time in the echo chamber and more time listening to dissenting opinions. Then they can, as you've done here, argue against the opposing viewpoint and engage in open debate, rather than ignoring or trying to silence those they disagree with. Listening only to people you agree with promotes undesirable phenomena, such as polarization and groupthink.
