Are Corporation much different from North Korea

NYT recently had an article about Apple and Foxconn. Two large corporations, latter of which operates a factory "city" in China.

As I read the company comments it was like reading a North Korean government announcement.

I've worked for few large corporations in my lifetime, and I would say the amount of corporate B.S. you have to accept as part of your "work ethic" is just unbelievable. You really have to convince yourself of the moral purity of the corporation when making any public comments about the company. Or else.

@daenku32 That reminds me of the assertion that I read somewhere that "corporations are governments." I disagree with the assertion, but I think the phrase is meant to be a kind of thought experiment, in this case it's to make us think about what type of government a corporation would resemble. I think it would be like a dictatorship like North Korea.

And governments are corporations. What do you think is their purpose, to serve the people? Or to increase the wealth of the ruling class, or, in other words, to facilitate the concentration of capital.
