He practically lied and hustled throughout the film, just to have a traveling companion and have RDJ's character a new best friend, or punching bag.

He reminded me of a blood sucking tick that is hard to get rid of.

I would probably have done the same thing, though obviously for different reasons.

Never argue with an idiot; people passing by might not be able to tell the difference.
