Chris Kattan is going to be on the show all week...
Why?
Not that there's anything wrong with that!

I don't know, but by the sounds of it, they're doing that arm sketch, Jacob's Patience.
When I was younger, I used to confuse Chris Kattan with Jimmy Fallon. All I knew was that I liked one better, but when Chris was by himself, I wasn't sure which one he was.

Wasn't as bad as that stupid cartoon. Was that supposed to be funny...?

That cartoon was absolutely awful. And then they just KEPT on doing it. I can't remember the last time I cringed so badly at a late night talk show. It was so bad.

I love Chris Kattan.
But I don't really like him being on LNJF that much. When he was on Monday, his haircut made him look like Hitler. Off-putting haha
:) Still loved other voices :D

He was so annoying during the musical instruments bit with Julianne Moore. He wouldn't shut up and just listen to what they were playing. The whole Kattan thing really seemed like some kind of pity deal. He had no reason to be there. I doubt he's doing anything extraordinary with his career.

I thought it was funny at the end when Jimmy started playing Row Row Row the Boat and he acted like he didn't know it, Jimmy started yelling, etc., but the week was pretty much an all around fail. He was very unfunny himself. He tried, but it just didn't work. The worst was when he joined Jimmy to announce the musical guest on the last night. He tried some jokes but just no one laughed. So awkward. Though that happened all week, so...
shareIt was a funny bit in my opinion.
shareI believe the Chris Kattan week was planned a couple weeks in advance. Anyway. While watching that week of shows, I had a feeling that after day one, Kattan didn't want to be there anymore. Every night he'd made a little side comment on why he wasn't enjoying himself: "I don't think I have ever had such a terrible time in my life" during 'Other Voices' (although I thought that was hilarious, because it was so out of place); "This isn't as fun as it may seem" during 'Water War'; a repeated expression what looked like yawning to me during the intro of the game of charades (it could have just been me though) and everyone knows what happened during the instruments bit.
You can tell that the intention was just to have some fun with an old SNL buddy, but Kattan didn't bring much to the table entertainment-wise, which makes it seem like, yeah, as mentioned, he had no reason to be there.
