How many times did you find yourself saying 'I'm lost'?

well quite a few honestly, but it was definitely down to the very poor subs on the version i watched. they were badly translated and the syncing wasn't great.
i watched the long version and thought it was so fantastic that i stuck with it anyway. hopefully i can get a copy with good subs at some point to fully enjoy it.

It was definitely confusing.

Two different times myself.

Not once. One of the best drama-thrillers I've seen.

I only understand him going down to Korea and accomplishing the hit. After that, it was a muddled mess. I think the problem for me was that every time they mentioned an Asian name, I had no clue who that person was. Doesn't help that I kept stopping and restarting the movie over the coarse of a couple of days. I just could not get into but I kept trying until I gave up a little past halfway.

When I saw the title of your thread I honestly laughed out loud because those 2 words were EXACTLY what I said more than once while watching the film... Actually, I think what I said was, 'I'm lost here...'

However, still, all-in-all I was able to get the gist of everything. The subs I had were VERY well done. I mean EVERY little sign or building or note, there was a subtitle for it : )

A very well made film in every way, just not quite my personal kind of movie. I had started 'THE CHASER' and I think I will like that one a lot better. Not that it actually IS better, but the more lighter, glossy, action oriented Thriller is a bit more entertaining for me. This one was truly excellent, but just a tad dark and nihilistic, which depending on the style, I'm usually not really into...
